OwnMyPath is a community habilitation app made by Fundy Digital. It helps Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) guide individuals toward greater independence in real-world community settings. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
What information the app collects
OwnMyPath stores the following information that you enter:
- Client names and identifiers you create for tracking purposes.
- Session data including environment, task, level, rating, and date/time.
- Notes you add to sessions.
All client and session data is stored only on your device. We do not operate servers or databases that store your client information.
How your information is used
Client and session data is used solely to track progress and generate reports within the app. We do not sell, share, or transmit client data to any third party.
Where your information is stored
All data is stored locally on your device using encrypted secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore) for sensitive data, and local storage for session records. No data is transmitted to external servers except as described in the Third-party services section below.
Third-party services
OwnMyPath uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase Crashlytics — collects anonymous crash reports (device model, OS version, stack traces) to improve app stability. No client data is included.
- Firebase Analytics — optional and off by default. Only if you opt in (Settings → Analytics) do we collect anonymous usage analytics. No personally identifiable information and no client data is transmitted.
- Apple App Store / Google Play Store — process in-app purchases directly. No third-party purchase middleware is used. Apple or Google handle your payment details — we never see your name, email, or payment information.
Sensitive topics & personal-care activities
Own My Path includes life-skills practice activities that cover personal-care topics, including a Period Care activity. These activities are educational — they teach a routine through illustrated steps. The app does not track menstrual cycles and does not collect any health, medical, or reproductive-health data.
Any progress a Direct Support Professional records — including for sensitive topics — is stored only in encrypted storage on the device and is never transmitted to our servers, sold, or shared. You can hide sensitive-topic labels in Settings, and you can remove all data at any time with the “Clear All Data” option.
Data retention
All client and session data is stored locally on your device until you delete it. You can delete all local data at any time using the "Clear All Data" option in Settings. There is no automatic expiration of data.
International data transfers
Crash reports and analytics data are processed by Google (Firebase) in the United States. Purchase data is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store under their respective privacy policies. By using this app, you consent to the transfer of this anonymous data to the United States.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You have the right to:
- Access: Since data is stored locally on your device, you already have full access.
- Deletion: Delete all local data via "Clear All Data" in Settings, or by uninstalling the app.
- Portability: Use the Export feature in Settings to export your data.
- Object to processing: You can stop using any feature at any time.
- Lodge a complaint: EU residents may contact their local Data Protection Authority. California residents may contact the California Attorney General.

Children's privacy
OwnMyPath is not directed at children under 13. Users must confirm they are 13 years of age or older before accessing the app. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Sensitive data considerations
OwnMyPath may be used to track progress of individuals receiving habilitation services. While data is stored only on your device, we recommend that DSPs follow their organization's data handling policies and avoid entering full legal names or other protected health information (PHI) into the app. Use first names or initials where possible.
Deleting your data
All data is stored on your device. You can delete it at any time using the Clear All Data option in Settings. There is no account to delete and no data held on our servers.

We want Own My Path to be usable by everyone, including the individuals it is designed to support. If you or someone you support encounters an accessibility barrier, email [email protected] and we will do our best to help.
Changes to this policy
If we make changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the revised policy at this URL.
